The big armor enemies are the Jugulus and Saxum. Ancients are weak to Corrosive/Blast. Aside from that, Heat, Slash, and Gas are all fairly powerful. Infested resist Viral, but if you get enough damage bonus stacks it doesn't matter anyway. I honestly just use a Heat/Viral Corinth Prime for basically everything.
